چکیده
Abstract Background Artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a major driver of technological development in the 21st century, yet little attention been paid to algorithmic biases towards older adults. "Digital ageism" is new form ageism that embedded into technology and AI systems. Aim: This review aimed explore how age-related bias encoded systems better understand digital ageism. Methods The scoping follows six-stage methodology framework developed by Arksey O'Malley. search strategy established six databases we will investigate grey literature databases, targeted websites, popular engines. An iterative was used. Studies meet inclusion criteria if they are English, peer-reviewed, available electronically full-text, included concepts ‘bias’ old age. At least two reviewers independently conducted title/abstract screening full-text screening. Results Our database searches resulted 7 595 manuscripts underwent title abstract Of these 49 papers, were study. word "ageism" explicitly mentioned only about half papers. Approximately papers could be most commonly used applicaiton computer vision. Conclusions preliminary findings contribute foundational knowledge or amplified work advances can manner consistent with ethical values human rights legislation, particularly it relates an aging population.

Within the past three years, several new AI textbooks have been published, all written by well-known researchers (Dean, Allen, and Aloiminos 1995; Russell and Norvig 1995; Shoham 1994; Ginsberg 1993). Thus, it is not surprising that the authors of each of these textbooks have sought a way to distinguish their own book from the rest. The hook for Stuart Russell and Peter Norvig's new textbook, A...
